    • ECTS stands for the European Credit Transfer System. It is a standardized system that defines full-time study in a degree program to be 60 ECTS-credits. By following these guidelines, the University of Applied Management makes sure that academic performance is comparable and transferrable for students coming from other universities to the University of Applied Management, as well as the other way around. (Please note, that this is not a guarantee that credits will be transferred!) The ECTS was developed by the Council of the European Union in order to both introduce a unified process for the accreditation of studies undertaken in foreign countries and to make European programs of studies internationally comparable. The ECTS is currently used by many European universities.
